Over ten art-filled days in July, we invite all members of the public to listen to compelling talks, join artist studio tours, give back to a frontline worker, or support the artists by purchasing a beautiful artwork – right from the comfort of your own home.

Glimpsing the Future, Vol. 3

This program will introduce you to some of Toronto's diverse, innovative and emerging artists. This fast-paced format allows each artist only 14-18 images and 30 seconds per image to describe their studio practice, process, and artworks.

Special 60th Anniversary Projects

60 Over Sixty

This outstanding digital exhibition, curated by long-time friend of TOAF, art consultant, curator and artist Flavio Belli, features sixty prolific senior Canadian artists to celebrate their impact during the milestone 60th Anniversary.  

60 Works / 60 Years at Market Gallery

Coming up this Fall is a unique presentation of every Mayor’s Purchase Award Winner since 1979 at an in-person exhibition called 60 Works / 60 Years, presented by the Market Gallery in collaboration with TOAF. Every year, the Mayor of Toronto, assisted by City curators, selects an artwork at TOAF to be brought into the municipal collection that represents the diverse perspectives that make up the City of Toronto.

Artist Showcase at stackt market

In 2021, we went back to our roots with a small selection of TOAF60 artists at stackt market. Small, distanced, fitting for our times! stackt market, designed entirely out of shipping containers, is a dynamic urban space and cultural marketplace. 

TOAF60 in Virtual Reality

In partnership with Art Gate VR and curated by Daniel St-Amant and #Hashtag Gallery, TOAF presents a selection of artworks from the TOAF60 roster of artists in Virtual Reality. Please join us at the virtual opening reception on July 3rd at 7pm to tour #Hashtag Gallery’s first collaboration with Toronto Outdoor Art Fair and view our curated virtual showcase with over 30 of Toronto's top artists as we celebrate TOAF’s 60th anniversary and the future of Art Fairs. How to View the VR Exhibition:
1. Visit artgatevr.com and select your preferred platform (Oculus, PC, or Mac).
2. Launch the App, and walk through the doorway marked #Hashtag Gallery located in the lobby.
