Canada’s leading contemporary outdoor and online art fair

TOAF will take place July 12 – 14, 2024.

This year’s programming is extravagant!

This year’s programming is extravagant (for TOAF), if we may say so 🙂

Together with our wonderful artists and partners, both new and returning, we are bringing you a dynamic series of free digital and in-person programming for art lovers of all ages and interests!

On July 8 at 12:30 PM, we will kick off the Online Fair with a lively set of Artist Chats on Instagram Live with our exuberant Art Love Envoy Tiffany Pratt. The digital Studio Tours and web-based Curated Collections will offer you different points of connection to a showcase of 400+ artists online.

The Online Fair and these digital programs were born out of the challenges of the past two years and brought a lot of joy to our community. They are new traditions that we hope to grow thanks to your attention and engagement.

Then, we want you to book your weekend with us at Nathan Phillips Square! We can hardly wait to see artists face-to-face, see artworks in real life, and have inspiring conversations and connections.

The cascading stage at Nathan Phillips Square will be jam-packed with live music, thought-provoking contemporary dance, and the awesome vibes of TOAF’s unique Beer Garden with our friends at Henderson Brewing Co

Our new programming partners at Small World Music have curated an electric selection of bands and musicians to get you moving for the three days of the Fair.

We are thrilled for the return of Jenn Goodwin’s 2016 stunning movement installation, If I Should StumbleCHALKING, premiering at TOAF, is a contemplative new dance work by ĀNANDAṀ Dancetheatre that will take you through a moment of quiet and reflection in the cocoon of the podium rooftop.

Art Nest is a new TOAF programming initiative – a postponed Special 60th Anniversary project in partnership with ArtworxTO: Toronto’s Year of Public Art 2021-2022, inviting six artists to push the boundaries of their art practices and create their first public artworks.

StreetARToronto is treating you to dynamic Live Painting programming from an incredible roster of our city’s muralists, an onsite photography exhibition, and a showcase of 16 artists.

We have planned guided Art Tours with charismatic and insightful storytellers.

There’s also fun for families and young ones with art workshops in partnership with The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery and Budding Art Buyers – our very special collecting program for young visitors!

Ultimately, we hope that you experience the joy of discovering the perfect piece of art for your spaces, and that we see many of you heading home from the Fair with a work of art in your hands.

There is so much more! This is just enough to entice you to take a look at our full programming schedule and start planning your visit.

Happy planning!
