Canada’s leading contemporary outdoor and online art fair

TOAF will take place July 12 – 14, 2024.

Visit us at Scarborough Town Centre, October 1-3!

We missed you! We hope your summer was filled with renewed connections, rejuvenating moments and artful experiences.

The City is back to life and filled with spectacular arts and cultural offerings with the launch of ArtworxTO: Toronto’s Year of Public Art 2021-2022. Something is happening at every corner, and it is thrilling to see the artistic community emanate vibrancy and exuberance into our daily lives.

TOAF is participating in this important city-wide initiative with a showcase of artists who will contribute to animating Scarborough Town Centre (STC), one of the many ArtworxTO Cultural Hubs. We invite you to join us at STC, meet this exciting group of participating artists, buy a piece of art, and enjoy all the free public art and events in the area.

Please also make a visit to Artscape Youngplace to catch Steven Restagno’s masterful new works in his latest show, THREADBARE. You might remember that Steven won the Marie Collins and Artscape Best of Student of Award in 2019. This exhibition opportunity was part of his award that was postponed during the pandemic.

There are more exciting happenings to announce in the coming weeks, so please stay tuned.

We hope you enjoy your art-filled travels around the City this weekend and into the Fall.

See you there!

THREADBARE, Steven Restagno's solo show

Postponed due to the pandemic, 2019 Best of Student Award recipient Steven Restagno has finally opened his solo exhibition on the 2nd Floor Hallway Gallery of Artscape Youngplace, 180 Shaw St, Toronto. Open now to view until October 3, 2021.

THREADBARE is a series of high realism self-portraits that use clothing to play with the concept of identity. Painted with extreme detail, the simple compositions tell stories of isolation, eroticism, queerness and belonging.
