Best of Fair Award Winner Julien Kandolo, 'Survivor', 2016, acrylic on canvas

Dear Friend of TOAF,

Before the team goes on a break to enjoy the rest of summer, we wanted to say a final Thank You for making the first online version of TOAF a grand success!

We are proud to have been able to continue facilitating income and engagement opportunities for our artists during this time. This year, 600+ works of art found new homes across Canada, the US, Japan, and Hong Kong. We also witnessed a 300% increase in visitor engagement on our website and 30% increase in our social media reach in four weeks. Our Gifts of Heart campaign sparked the generosity of many avid supporters, 100+ new donors, and 100+ gifts of art brought joy and smiles to our frontline workers.

Numbers are a great way to measure success, but it is the willingness to collaborate and fierce togetherness of our community of artists and art lovers that helped us get to where we are. Because of you, we were able to transfer the warmth and welcoming essence of the TOAF community to its virtual form. All throughout the fair, there was a wonderful buzz, excitement, and energy that pushed all of us out of our comfort zones and allowed us to learn and grow in ways we never imagined.

The generous gifts from The Koffler Family Foundation, The Lindy Green Family Foundation, The Rudolph P. Bratty Family Foundation as well as the City of Toronto, allowed TOAF to navigate these uncertain times safely.

We are extremely proud of our wonderful community and want to send our heartfelt thanks to the exceptional artists of #TOAF59, our volunteers, generous donors, TOAF Board of Directors, programming partners, media partners, judges, jurors, all of the wonderful art lovers and collectors, and our nimble and agile team!

Make sure to fill out our visitor survey; we would love hear about your #TOAF59 experience! We will be back with our award winners in September, but in the meantime, we still have spectacular works by our 300+ juried artists available on our website to browse. Consider bringing joyful additions to your homes as you continue to support our independent artists.
