Wendy Fee
Wendy began her artistic journey in watercolour, loving the unpredictable nature of the medium. She currently works in acrylics, oil and cold wax for their versatility and adaptability to larger formats. Dividing her time between studios in Montreal and The Bahamas continues to inspire her subject matter. The proximity to nature in its largest forms such as oceans and mountains has a profound impact on her body of work.
Taking a playful approach to illustrate her emotional response to a idea, place or time, the artist's Jelly Dancer series entertain the senses with their delightful whimsy and free-spirited energy. "I love to paint my Jelly Dancers and always paint them in a series of three. Jellyfish tentacles symbolize the interconnectedness of humankind, reminding us that we are never truly apart from those we love. If you are attending in person please visit me in corner Booth #B219; I look forward to seeing you and introducing you to these unique pieces!"
Wendy is an awarded artist whose contemporary works have been selected and published in Art books and magazines, her works residing in private collections in Canada, the U.S. and The Bahamas. Wendy is a Signature member of the International Society of Experimental Artists (ISEA)
