Hello! My name is Nichol, I am a Red River Metis artist from Manitoba (Treaty 1). My practice is primarily based in large-scale multifaceted installations involving a variety of mediums, such as, ceramics, textiles, wood, and collected/found objects. In addition to my installation work I have an active beadwork and traditional crafts practice.

Currently, I am completing a new series of works titled "Moonlight/klayr di leun", a collection of beadwork, textiles, paintings, and drawings. This series broadly draw on themes of memory and the body; memories of drawing flowers with my Nanny, my physical characteristics, and various environments. Check out my website for select pieces available for purchase.

Recent exhibitions include:
'Self Potrait..." at the Mary E. Black Gallery (Halifax, 2024);
"Emergence" at The Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery (Waterloo, 2024);
"X+X+X and So Fourth" The Canopy Gallery (New York, 2024),
