Meelana Kravchenko
I am a multimedia painter and designer who studies illustration and participates in gallery exhibitions throughout Toronto. My practice mainly focuses on themes of familiarity and domestic life. This body of work portrays various moments of domesticity and places them in a heightened state of emotion. I use close/distant perspectives and the vastness/conformity of the canvas to balance conflicting feelings of the homebody.
