Krista Acheson
Krista Acheson is a multidisciplinary artist from Nash Creek, New Brunswick, residing in Edmonton, Alberta.
Presently, she is developing a sculptural series entitled 'Nowhere Girl', a body of work using stone for smaller scale work and plaster for larger scale prototypes intended for permanent fabrication.
Over the past year she's begun experimenting with hybrid forms combining textile (soft) with material such as stone, epoxy, beeswax etc. (hard)
The overarching theme for this series is metamorphosis; sculptural snapshots on the path to 'becoming'.
