After a scientific career, I pursued my passion for fine arts, studying at institutions like the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts of Montreal. Over the years, I’ve explored different styles, from classical painting to life drawing, diving deep into the study of the human figure. Today, I focus on realistic painting with works exhibited in galleries.
My recent portrait series explores faces as sites of identity shaped by the visual language of AI biometric mapping. By creating a tension between painting and technology, I question whether the image is authored by a human or a machine. My practice engages with the evolving reality that contemporary artists must navigate.
