Hey, I’m Fredbel, a painter and screen printer based in Montréal. Over time, my work has evolved through experimenting with different techniques and exploring whatever captures my interest. A big part of what I do today revolves around the idea of memory distortion. I’ve always been a nostalgic person, and diving into past memories has shaped both who I am and how I create. That’s why I’m so drawn to pop culture, it’s filled with shared moments that everyone can relate to. Through my art, I aim to create a sense of connection, a feeling of belonging. I want my work to be something people can easily connect with, yet also an invitation to pause and reflect on their own memories.
