ESTHER DOË KIM
Esther Kim, known as DOË, is a Korean-Canadian artist whose work explores the connection between nature and human emotion. Raised in British Columbia and based in Toronto, she studied at OCAD University and draws inspiration from the landscapes of her childhood. Her tactile paintings blend bold colours, playful textures, and sculptural elements to evoke both joy and reflection. Rooted in storytelling and emotional honesty, her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions, including The Artist Project and TOAF, where she received multiple awards. DOË’s evolving practice invites viewers into a world of wonder, memory, and quiet complexity.
