Daniel Cardoso

As a queer Portuguese printmaker I employ etching & linocut techniques to craft visual sagas infused with poetry and personal anecdotes. Inspired by Portuguese azulejos & Italian frescoes, I meld patterns with queer narratives, bridging cultural heritage and personal character with Canadian experiences. In my drawings, dreams and nightmares blend with reality in an exploration of the human mind. Each piece becomes a tapestry of identity, where threads of resilience and vulnerability intersect.
