Béatrice Eberhard grew up in Switzerland and studied fine art ceramics at SFG Bern. After immigrating to Canada in 2000, her life led her through many roles, each leaving a mark on her creative path. She creates textile and mixed-media collages that explore transformation through layering and pattern, both visually and emotionally. By reworking and connecting fragments, she reflects on memory, behavior, and the potential for change. During lockdown, limited supplies led her to smaller, intimate formats combining thread, paper, and type into fragile yet expressive compositions. Nature, where she feels most connected and free, remains a steady source of inspiration. Recent work reflects on childhood and the journey back to the self. Her art invites quiet reflection and encourages a gentle return to authenticity—a reconnection with the honest, unguarded parts of us that time may have buried.
