In Case of Rain

Be Prepared! A tarp or two can really make the difference in a situation of sudden rain to quickly cover your displays. If it rains, make sure that all the edges of your tent (top and side walls) are properly secured and tucked in. Remember tents are only water resistant not waterproof. To prevent water from pooling and leaking into the roof of your tent, wedge hula hoops, or sponge swimming noodles, between the tent top and the frame. You can use a broom or a pole to push pooling water off the tent roof - but be mindful of your neighbours and other people walking by your tent.
In case of thunder or lightening artists and visitors will be notified by staff and volunteers to leave their booths and proceed into city hall for safety.
