HYDRANGAS BOWL by Susan Card

Toronto Potters

This porcelain serving bowl was inspired by 17th century designs of Japanese potter Ogata Kenzan. The pattern of abstracted flowers and leaves relates to the tradition of floral symbolism in ceramics. Hand painted with ceramic materials, glazes and underglazes, the bowl is dishwasher and microwave safe. When not used as tableware, it graces home décor displayed as a one-of-a-kind sculpture.
