DRAPE by Silvana Michetti

Structure and surface are integrated in a sculptural form, built by hand from thin slabs of porcelain clay, to function as a light. The eggshell smooth translucent porcelain is unglazed to highlight the luminous textures. Includes installed lamp fixture at the base: 40-watt LED bulb and socket and electrical plug with 6-foot white cord and switch. Electrical components are not waterproof. Clean the porcelain with a damp cloth and mild soap. IG: @silvana ceramics
