THE PARADISE: FEMALE WILSON'S BIRD OF PARADISE by Peidi Wang
Toronto Potters
The Bird of Paradise, a family of bird, is famous for their fascinating sexually dimorphic plumage, and their adorable “dances” during the mating season. The thought of combining the artist's experiments with clay, with a touch of imagination rooted on the fascination of these adorable birds, has inspired “The Paradise”series of sculptures .
