Danielle Hyde - Earth Meetings in Summer

Mixed media painting in acrylic, natural ink, aerosol are layered with hand painted silk and burlap fabrics creating texture. Bright pastel colours depict strawberries, blueberries and cattails. In the middle there is a figure dancing in tall grass and behind them is a depiction of the Odemiini-giizis (strawberry moon) and berries glowing like stars.
