Danielle Hyde - Earth Meetings in Winter

Mixed media painting in acrylic, natural ink, aerosol are layered with hand painted silk and burlap fabrics creating texture. Dark purples, grey blues and pale yellows are brushed along the canvas. In the middle a human figure is surrounded by stars. In their lap a person dreams watched over by a hunter deer and dried food. In the background is Manidoo-Giizisoons (Little Spirit moon).
