Booth 49
Tamara Soto is a canadian-bolivian contemporary artist. Her work engages with the immediate response of the line, shape and color. Primarily an oil painter, her practice extended to drawing as a way to channel her energy, looking inwards she found a new vocabulary to express her ancestral journey. Booth 49
This current body of work for the TOAF22 nature finds their individual universe, it grows, cohabits and plays. Nature is the main inspirations in her work, that provides her a joyful grounding feeling to be present.
She uses acrylic paint and mix media on canvas, the work develops over several layers of paint and repetitive lines to create patterns, texture and contrast. Her colour palette is bold and intuitive.
Commissions to recreate a unique and/or similar painting from my body of work are welcome. Please contact regarding commissions.
