Suzette Terry

Meaford
Nathan Phillips Square
Booth 216
Suzette Terry is an accomplished painter who has been working primarily with acrylics and mixed media/collage since 1990. Her vibrant pieces are widely collected and can be found in three galleries across Ontario: Matilda Swanson Gallery, Clarksburg, Karger Gallery, Elora, Le Hang Gallery, Toronto.

Suzette takes her inspiration from the natural world. Her landscapes burst with colour and energy, expressing her passion for the rocks, trees and shorelines and vistas found both in Killarney and Algonquin Provincial Parks and across Grey Bruce County where she resides.

This series of paintings for the Toronto Art Show are a direct response to recent camping trips to Killarney where the spirit and energy of the landscape inspired Suzette to loosen her style, to play with movement and colour in order to express the spirit of such an astounding natural place.
