Stephanie Singh is a Toronto-based interdisciplinary textile designer. She currently is in the final year of her graduate studies at OCADU in the Masters of interdisciplinary arts, media, and design. Achieving her undergrad in textiles from Sheridan College, she focuses on sustainable one-use plant materials transforming them into timeless forms. Currently, she focuses on materials of her Caribbean Culture, where story-telling experiences are captured.

“I'm going to make everything around me beautiful, if it is not alive, I will make it beautiful, that will be my life. I have always had an urge to create and explore new crafts and materials and I completely fell in love with the raw material. I love working with paper by creating textures and shaping my own organic form language. The paper is my way of telling stories of our beautiful surroundings.”
