Champion of Flowers

This fanciful embroidery is inspired by my love of observing birds and the rituals and memories shared over tea. I love drawing china, looking at the delicate shapes, patterns and details as I work. This Richard Champion & Co teapot is part of the permanent collection at the Gardiner Museum where I made drawings based on my observations which inspired this piece.
