My artistic work explores human existence with a focus on femininity. I draw and paint situations of human fragility or doubt. In a project called Fresco, I aimed to capture the evocative intimacies of human figure. These figurative works draw also from my biographical experiences of the unyielding perspectives of womanhood- of maternity, and sorority. My work reflects the need to express compassion by freezing a moment from a longer yet unknown story. Booth 79
My experimental approach includes oil, ink or charcoal on canvas, paper, or Mylar. I integrate photos of private and cultural sources and play with transparencies to invite the unexpressed.
I am a French visual artist based in Toronto. For any inquiries about my work & commissions, I can be reached by email.
