I am an accomplished figurative sculptor and the daughter of a metal machinery and scrap dealer. Scavenging among heaps of metal in a scrap yard, I seek odd shapes and rusted pieces that resonate within me. The smells of melting welded rods and greasy machine parts are to me, like the seductive odors of a bakery! Using discarded remnants of the industrial age, my steel works fuse history and personal artistic expression into a celebration of life and love.
