ARTIST STATEMENT
"For me, capturing an image through a camera lens is merely the first step in a visual evolution. My image needs to be embellished and transformed before it reveals how I see the visual world.
Extending the creative process by applying digital painting tools to the raw image allows me to move away from the predictable and create an altered perspective by introducing new colours, layered textures and modified light and shadow, all working to form a unique and very personal visual experience."
