Margaret’s an international artist and graduate of the Sheridan College Art Fundamentals Program. Other courses she has taken are through OCAD evening courses and workshop with professional artists such as Terry Isaac, Derek Wicks and Robert Bateman.
She’s a city girl who prefers to be in the country, with a love for animals and nature which has transitioned into becoming a wildlife artist.
Her current choice of medium is Scratchboard which consists of a layer of hardboard, with a layer of white clay and a layer of india ink. She scratches the india ink surface with a tool to bring the white clay layer to the surface creating the details and then paints into the clay layer with inks or watercolors creating the colours that you see in her work.
Her works can be found in private collections internationally and in her studio located at the Alton Mill Art Centre.
