Kim Chase

Carleton Place
Nathan Phillips Square
Booth 157
Kim Chase is a painter living in Carleton Place, ON Canada. She is a self-taught artist that works in acrylics focusing primarily on figurative, portraits and wildlife. She focuses on expression, storytelling, and the beauty of each subject. She enjoys taking things outside the box and finding a new spin with some of her pieces, drawing the viewer in with her subjects and stories.

“It’s been a matter of timing for me. I was never ready to sit down for any length of time to be creative. My time is now to explore my art.”

She admits she is a “late bloomer” when it comes to her art, but life and her various careers always took front seat. Being ex-military, business owner, firefighter, personal trainer/gym owner, and bestselling author, Kim welcomes change as she finds it exciting and revitalizing. With the many avenues she has taken in her careers, she has been guided to this point in her life that is filled with passion and love for art.
