Kale Vandenbroek
Toronto
Nathan Phillips Square
Booth 99
Rooted in his homosexuality and the adolescent ridicule that he endured, Kale's work explores the effect of social interactions on the artist’s ever-developing psyche. With skills and techniques learned from his education in printmaking, Kale builds imagery through compositional processes to create surreal, graphic visuals. His work has shown in Japan, China, Finland, and within Canada, with a piece in the collection at the Tama Art University in Tokyo. Kale is a graduate of the Alberta College of Art + Design and now works out of Toronto,
