Kale Vandenbroek

Kale Vandenbroek is an artist based in Toronto, Ontario. His work explores the place of the homosexual man in contemporary social constructs. Through autobiographical imagery, the artist portrays his own difficulties with finding his place. Making this work offers Kale a way to process the experience. His likeness interacts with symbolic objects from the world around him, some real and some imagined.
