Snow Leopard Cub Study

Jen Lipski

The unique brushstrokes of this artwork were painted on raw steel with a clear acid patina. The acid is applied to the surface of the metal, oxidizing and darkening the steel before being neutralized and washed away to control the effect. The reflective surface of the metal may cause this artwork to shine differently under every lighting condition. The finished painting is accented by a rustic wood frame, which comes ready to hang with a picture wire on the back (listed dimensions include frame)
