Old Growth White Spruce

This amazing old-growth white spruce grows in the subalpine zone of the Cariboo Mountains, BC. The painting shows only a few scales of bark with resin on the right side (rendered in gold leaf). The background is a variable tone of teal which complements nicely with the white/cream/gray-blue bark scales and the dark brown and blue crevices in the bark. The work is sealed with several layers of beeswax which can be cleaned gently with a soapy soft cloth as needed. Ships free Canada-wide.
