Sea Grape Sky, Domino Sea

Quilt Pattern: School House influence for the Conch Houses. Dominoes influence from the popularity of the game within the Cuban culture in Key West. My family learned to play while living there and have had a game running continuously for about seven years. Household items were traced for patterns in old quilts. I used my dominoes for the shape of the zig zag in the sea portion of my painting. Sea Grape leaves are from a tropical tree that is found in Florida. Work is ready to hang.
