From the COVID series: Please Wash Your Hands

In the first weeks and months of the pandemic we all washed our hands and dried them out with sanitizer till our skin cracked. Since it’s a good idea to regularly wash your hands even at the best of times, I hope this habit sticks, but looking back, I think it’s sadly funny how much faith we put in hand-washing to prevent a virus that turned out to be mainly transmitted by air.
