Ombrelle

Ombrelle is a sculpture part of my urban landscape work. This limited edition of 12 unique originals with the same openings (shadow under the umbrellas), is inspired from my 2015-16 photography in Toronto. All artworks are made with specific steel I find for each piece. My compositions always include the textures from the raw material, my painting by oxydation of the subject and the play of light and shadows created by the openings I make in the steel.
Each comes with a special hanging bracket.
