As a parent I've taken endless photos of my children, but less as they have grown up. I wanted to capture more of the outdoor moments I've spent with my family using a method other than photos. Paintings with stones make the subjects less personal but are now more approachable and relatable for anyone at all stages of life.Booth 206
My artwork is created using acrylic paint, and painted using pieces torn from my daughter's old sponge mattress instead of traditional paintbrushes. Recycling and upcycling is a hobby of mine - even vegetable trays are reused as paint reservoirs!
