Hakan Kamasik

Hakan Kamasik was a modern expressionist artist who was born in Turkey in 1992. He had a degree on Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Art in Turkey. He came to Toronto in 2021 and continued his art professionally. Participated in many individual and group exhibitions in Turkey, London, and Toronto.

Oil paint on canvas, acrylic, and mixed techniques on paper were the main tools. The artworks generally created body and body references in the case of human figures. His artworks reflected a language of expression dominated by an internal expression, with autobiographical fiction and fictional conversations based on the body.

The painter Hakan Kamasik, who devoted himself to art, passed away in April, 2023.
