Update: B171—I’m celebrating my 17th consecutive year at TOAF!

A self-taught artist working full-time at my practice since 2006

Following my passion for music, I worked in many facets of the music industry -performance, writing & promotion, which eventually led to my dream career of owing a record shop. After selling the shop, I became a stay-at-home dad & through walks through the streets/alleys of my adopted city of Hamilton, Ont. I became fascinated by the inner networks & webs of the city. I breakdown the city into component parts. Shadows, buildings & skylines, all become part of the same plane for me & transform into pieces of a puzzle. Using acrylic paint on canvas, I explore my urban surroundings seeking a theme common to our lived experience–how community connects us all.

I'm an urban artist and create original + one of a kind art.
