My car paintings veer on the abstract as I explore subconscious ideas tied to familiarity. I enjoy word play and semiotics in my titling process. White Knight evokes the idea of the reverse, light in the darkness, a bold, charging figure in the darkness. This oil painting is highly textured through my application of palette knives.
