Celina Kang

Hi My name is Celina, ceramic artist in Toronto, Canada.
I have been practicing ceramics for about 20 years since university degree in ceramics.
Ever since, ceramics have been my life-time passions, philosophy, and best friend.

My work has been inspired by nature, especially stone, sand, clay, all sorts of mineral forms from the earth. In my work, the mineral particles are playing to create beautiful and natural textures. I emphasize the bare skins and simplify the shapes to show fundamentals of natural process. These ancient substances lead me through step by step, and teach me how's nature works.
