Angelica Candido is a Brampton-based artist specializing in acrylic painting. She is inspired by art history, surrealism, and landscape which is conveyed impressionistically on wooden panels or canvas. Candido has exhibited with George Brown College to showcase her work after receiving the award for Best Print Portfolio, was featured in the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), Myseum of Toronto & Tea Base’s “Quarantine Qapsule,” Beaux Art Gallery, and CBC East Coast news. She received grants from JVS Toronto & The City of Brampton for her online art business to sell original paintings and prints. She continues to follow her passion by attending the bachelor's degree program at OCAD University for Drawing and Painting.
