Working in printmaking, Angela Snieder uses traditional drawing techniques to create densely detailed copper etchings, often depicting natural forms. She takes inspiration from 17th century Dutch and Czech etchings and engravings, vanitas still-lifes and natural history illustrations. Booth 148
Angela holds a BFA from York University and an MFA in Printmaking from the University of Alberta. She has exhibited nationally and internationally and has taught printmaking and drawing in university and community settings. Angela lives in Hamilton and teaches printmaking in the Toronto area.
