Printed from multiple plates to achieve a rich range of colour, In the Mist depicts a distant building, emerging from swirling, abstracted fog banks. Drawn from early morning trips into Edmonton's river valley in late summer, the evocative atmosphere lent itself to a hazy, loose rendering with aquatint.
