8. Still not Invisible

Tracey Lee Green

When Sudan, the last male Northern White Rhino in the world, died in March of 2018, my heart broke. For all the successes in conservation, one loss like this stays with you. There are only two females left in the world, Najin & Fatu. Some of Sudan’s sperm was collected in hopes that one of these females could be impregnated to hopefully start a breeding program and save this species from the Brink. This painting was created in honour of Sudan’s life.
