Tulip Mechanics

Rosi Maria Di Meglio

Tulip Mechanics was inspired by my three week residency in 2017, to Israel. I was on a spiritual search for my identity when I came across two enormous mechanical tulip sculptures. These tulips opened and closed with the help of natures wind. I was transported back to my childhood, maybe because of the size of the sculpture or the playfulness between sculpture and nature. It left an impression on me! This painting in ready to hang, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
