HamiltonI work to understand glass through continually refining techniques to create playful pieces and elegant objects. While my work is often described as sculptural, I personally reject this characterization. Sculpture tends to have the connotation of expressing a narrative which is not presently my goal. I draw inspiration from classic forms; spheres, cylinders and cones. In addition to various surface treatments, my extensive colour palate favours both subdued shades and lustrous hues.
