Parveen Dhatt

Native and all folk art remain as inspirations for my work, the colours and composition are very vibrant, especially totem poles, which really fascinated me early in my career. Inspired by the subjects Emily Carr painted, I experimented and made those subjects my own with a colour sense that is heavily influenced by the richness of South Asian fabrics.
