Narelle Gibbs

Narelle Gibbs is a contemporary painter with dual citizenship in Australia and Canada and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. Her home studio by the lake in Oakville provides a constant source of inspiration for her paintings.
Narelle’s most recent work explores the cycles of nature and the themes of disintegration, decay, and renewal. Organic shapes of the sky, water and plants emerge in her paintings, often as abstract impressions, allowing room for interpretation. Her technique is constantly evolving; utilizing oil, acrylic, wax, charcoal and other media to achieve various textures and finishes in her art.
Narelle’s work is represented in galleries and private collections locally and internationally.
