Nadiya Svirsky

Nadiya Svirsky is a Ukrainian-born emerging artist and recent graduate of OCADU, working primarily in printmaking, painting and drawing. Her painting practise focuses on rendering the shifting and porous nature of memory through multilayered paintings of abandoned personal spaces and defunct Soviet-era architecture. Working from an array of sources including personal photos, found images, recollection and imagination, Svirsky depicts the elusive realm of memory in its ever-changing state.
