Melody Juthamongkol

I am a recent graduate of the Ontario College of Arts and Design Jewellery programme.

Now an aspiring jeweller, my work often draws inspiration from florals and faunas where I represent them in naturalistic miniaturized scales fit for jewellery. Oftentimes I would challenge myself to scale components, elements, or the overall design to be smaller as I find miniatures to be intriguing and a cuter version of the object in general!

My current practice focuses on fabricating one-of-a-kind narrative art jewellery pieces; working mainly in depletion gilded sterling silver. With the intent for audiences to experience joy upon seeing my works, playful messages, dippy depictions, and additional fun interaction or kinetic elements are recurrent features.

So, I make fun Jewellery!
