“An Exploration in Metaphysics”

I am inspired by the boundless complex structural patterns of reality and the exquisite beauty of the universal design revealed in patterns found in mathematics and science. I begin by creating a 2 Dimensional composition on a slab of clay using these collected universal patterns. I then cut and assemble it into a vessel form. My body of work exemplifies the movement of energy, the creation of life, consciousness and the ever expanding growth and complexity of our reality. The handbuilt process produces vessels that are unique yet connected to an origin, to remind us that everything is connected.
